Bridges Awards 2022

Winners to be announced at Bridges 2022 09 March 2022 #bridgesawards22

How to enter

All entries should be made using the online entry system. The step-by-step system requires full details of the main contact for the entry, as well as details of the following (if applicable):

  • Commissioning authority
  • Lead designer
  • Architect
  • Structural engineer
  • Main contractor.

It is also possible to add the names of other key firms associated with the project.

The most important part of the entry is the nomination statement. The nomination statement should be a PDF document containing:

  • An introductory paragraph summarising the key achievements, innovations and/or outcomes
  • A maximum of 800 words and up to ten images

The nomination statement will be used by the judges to assess your project. It is your opportunity to convince the judges of why your project should be shortlisted. Take note of the judging criteria and use it to guide the content of the written submission.

An entry fee of £25 (plus VAT) must be paid for EACH project. The process is completed once payment details have been entered successfully using a credit card. Please note that entries must only relate to bridges that opened to the public between 1 January 2021 and 1 January 2022.

To prepare the information that is required in each step, an overview of the process can be viewed here.

All entries should be uploaded using this system. If for any reason it is not possible to use the online entry system, please contact for alternative methods of entry.

DEADLINE: Entries must arrive no later than close of business (GMT) 19 January 2022.

The winners will be announced on Wednesday 9 March 2022 at Bridges 2022, following the conclusion of the day's conference programme.
