There will be FIVE categories for 2023, four of which are divided by size of project </>GBP£5 million (please note: there may, or may not, be an individual winner under each of these divisions each year).

The Bridges Design Award

This award aims to identify an outstanding project that combines engineering skill, aesthetics, technical innovation and environmental considerations.

The Bridges Construction Award

This award is presented to an organisation or partnership that has demonstrated remarkable achievement during a construction project involving one or more crossings.

The Bridges Award for New Life

This award - proudly sponsored by The Rochester Bridge Trust - recognises an outstanding project involving bridge refurbishment for the benefit of the local community.

The Bridges International Award

This award is open to UK-based teams, divisions or companies that have made an outstanding contribution to a bridge or group of bridges outside the UK.

The Bridges Management Award

This award recognises innovative best practice by a bridge owner and/or service provider in the management of a crossing/crossings in the UK.
